Tranquil Village Lake - Pet Friendly

Loved the location!! Peaceful setting on the lake. Lots of wildlife. Deers, ducks, geese right out the back door. We’ll be back!

Beautiful home with well thought out amenities, in a lovely neighborhood! The home felt newly built, had nice linens and appliances. Had a media/bonus room with a huge tv, pull out sofa and media chairs. Home sits on a beautiful lake. We loved watching the hot air balloons every morning and kids loved fishing. We saw a fox, plenty of deer and geese. We also loved being able to take our puppy (Goldendoodle). This was one of the biggest perks to this property, for us. Since he’s so young we didn’t want to leave him behind. The only challenge (which is not the owner’s fault) was the mass amount of goose poop in the front/backyard. Unfortunately our goofball doodle was obsessed with trying to eat it 🤦🏻‍♀️! Again, not the homeowners fault, as these geese live around the lake, but it made our visit a little difficult since we had to walk him down the street every time he needed to go out. We stayed for a recent ski trip and it was fantastic, everything looked like the photos, the house is super convenient to town and the stores. Its very peaceful on the water and enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the sunset and sunrise. The hosts were great and super responsive. The kitchen is fantastic especially if you love cooking and cooking for a family, lots of counter space and great range. Was also a plus having a large garage being able to park the car inside to help with the frost, ice and snow when going skiing first thing in the morning. Lots of windows and a real spacious feel with all the natural lighting. All in all would definitely book again and really enjoyed our stay. It is as it looks! Book it!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this luxurious beautiful property on a beautiful lake! We had flocks of keys, coming to the shoreline every day and have seen three deer walking around the neighborhood many times and even a red fox. The house is immaculate and luxurious and very well stocked and very comfortable.Highly recommend this place and would return again one day.

If you are wanting to stay in Pagosa, this is the first place to look. It is a great set up for a family and convenient to everything. Parking the car in the garage was a big plus! We are already planning a trip back soon.

Wonderful stay and beautiful views. The neighborhood has walking paths that we enjoyed. The neighborhood was peaceful and had very friendly neighbors. It was easy drive to downtown Pagosa Springs and other outdoor activities. My family didn’t want to leave!

A really nice place to stay! Beautiful views! Very quiet! Lovely lake out the back deck! Lots of wildlife - many deer browsing, a fox darting, osprey and herons catching fish, bald eagle hunting, hummingbirds humming, big catfish lolling in the lake! The house seems brand new, spotless, well equipped, and everything works great!

We have been going to Colorado for several years to escape the hot summer in Texas. We had never been to Pagosa Springs. Our stay on the lake was so relaxing and quiet and mostly cool. The home was perfect for our grown up family with spouses. A place on the ground floor for us and a place for our adult kids to spread out and get away from us old folks when needed. Our sil enjoyed fishing on the lake while we watched from the porch. There are lots of hiking trails in the neighborhood and others in the forest within just a few miles. Check in and out was a breeze and the host stayed in contact when necessary. I would recomment this home, if you are looking for a nice quiet place to stay. It is far enough away from the crowd to be comfortable but just a few short miles to shopping and restaurants.

My family and I had a wonderful time in Pagosa and staying at Tranquil Village Lake. The house was well taken care, location was convenient and Simply Home were very responsive to any questions or needs.

House is very nice. The deck is spacious with great view of lake, but proximity to neighbors wasn’t the best. Also, did not like all the exterior cameras. It felt like we were continually being watched when trying to enjoy outdoors. House was incredibly comfortable with great amenities, but cameras and being denied use of bikes & kayaks in garage prevents 5 star rating.

The house itself was very nice and clean. The property advertised as a lake house is a little deceiving. The house is at the very end of the pond and the shallow water is filled with algae and cat tails. There are no on water amenities that come with this property, even though the pictures shows kayaks and SUP boards. The view of the water is small and you mostly see other houses- that actually do have a lake view, but no this one. The price we paid was too high for it being advertised as a lake house.

We had a great stay. We have stayed in many vacation homes over the years, and this one really stands out! The deck overlooking the lake is so beautiful and peaceful. The layout of the home is perfect for a family, and everything you may need. We will definitely be back!

The check-in process was super easy and the host was very responsive and proactive. This home was beautiful and in a really nice neighborhood! The lake view and the fireplace in the living room was so peaceful, and cozy to wake up to every morning! This was one of the most organized Airbnb‘s we have ever booked and stayed in. They thought of everything and the kitchen was nicely stocked with higher end appliances and supplies such as nice knives that were actually sharp to prep food with, utensils and silverware. The coffee station was an added bonus! The home was clean and the beds were comfortable. It was a quick and easy 35 min drive to Wolf Creek for skiing. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Pagosa Springs!

We had the absolute best stay at this home over Christmas week. They even had a Christmas tree and other Christmas decor up to make it even more special for our 3 little kids. The house was fully stocked and very clean. Gorgeous views and location. We will absolutely be staying here again when we come back to visit our family.
