House was clean and great location to town and stores we enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and the coffee maker was perfect . Great location if you like to fish so many lakes near by , my son enjoyed fishing in so many different areas. Have to do it again soon , thank you . John

The house was as described and very clean. The location was great- close to the national forest trails and not far to drive into town. It’s definitely managed by a company, but we didn’t have any issues with them. One thing to keep in mind though is that while the house is dog friendly (large fenced yard and doggie door) the yard bumps up against two other neighbor yards. Both these neighbors have dogs and the dogs were outside almost all the time. Our dogs bark a lot when they see other dogs, so we weren’t able to use the yard much as we didn’t want to make all the neighbors hate us. If your dog is reactive you may want to pick a different house. If they’re not, it will work great for your needs.

Expect a “management company” OK experience. Place was OK for what we paid - pictures definitely had brightness all the way turned up, because place much darker than expected. Minimal cookware (pans), so expect to make one dish at a time. Beds were very soft and therefore uncomfortable. Parts of the place are aged and just falling apart. Smells in the master bathroom indicate they need their septic or sewage looked at. Blackout shades aren’t on all windows in bedrooms, which make it challenging to keep the light from coming in. Mostly, the fact that all of this info was shared with them via multiple outlets but nothing was done and response was “I’ll let them know” and then generic text messages would come in about checkout. Wouldn’t stay here again. Loved that it was walkable to National Forest though! Plenty of Airbnbs in the area for that though. We have stayed in Pagosa 4 times now in the last couple months and this was the wordy Airbnb. Feel bad for owners with this mgmt company. Response: Hi Hannah, Thank you for your feedback. I was very pleased with my recent stay at Periwinkle. The house was clean, comfortable, and well‑stocked. The neighborhood was peaceful, and the fenced yard was perfect for our dog. I also appreciated the TV in the master bedroom and the empty garage space for parking. The beds were very comfortable as well. I definitely recommend this place.

This was a great family vacation spot for our family of five. You’re near enough to town to get anything you need, and a perfect location for exploring town and going snowboarding at Wolf Creek as well as visiting family on the road to Durango. Would love to stay here again.

Our trip to Pagosa Springs was amazing!! We loved the home and had a great stay overall. If I could give 4.5 stars instead of 4, I would. The reason for 4 stars is that the property is clearly company-managed vs personally. We’ve stayed at many Airbnbs & this was the first time we were asked to pay an additional fee for one hour of an early check-in. 4pm check-ins/ 10am check-outs feel much more time-crunched than a 3pm/11am window. Also, with the snow melting, the yard was very muddy for our dogs, and there wasn’t a doormat or anything by the door to help manage the mess. Just a small addition that would make a difference. Overall, it’s a beautiful home in a great location, lots of trails near by & quick trip into town.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay. The property itself was comfortable and very dog-friendly — we especially appreciated the dog door, which made things so much easier for us and our pup. The space felt accommodating for pets, which was a big plus. One downside for us was that this Airbnb is managed through a rental company rather than a direct host. I personally prefer having direct communication with an owner, as it feels more personal and responsive. Communication was slower. We couldn’t not make it the first day due to a storm, no offered refund. When we arrived, the sheets had human hair on them, which was disappointing. However, the rental company did respond and sent someone the next day to change them, which we appreciated. We were there during heavy snow, and no snow shovel was provided. They did send someone to plow, but it wasn’t until around 6 PM the following day, which made getting around a bit challenging. Despite these issues, we enjoyed our stay overall. Thank you.

Our stay at Periwinkle was very pleasant. We appreciated the seamless communication with the Simply team; they are clearly pros at the management side of things. The location was perfect for us—close enough to town for convenience, but far enough out to enjoy the peace and quiet we look for. The fenced backyard was a major plus for our dog, and having access to the garage was a lifesaver for keeping the snow off the car. The house itself was well suited for us and served its purpose well. Overall, it’s a functional, well-managed property in a great location. We look forward to visiting a Simply property in the future.

This was such an easy and comfortable home to stay in. We enjoyed the fenced yard, the comfortable living room, and the gas fireplace a great deal. The dining room table was perfect for gaming and hanging out. Very comfy and easy place to stay.
